About Us
The Bonding Project was formed around a common philosophy: healthy and fulfilling relationships should be accessible to everyone. The more the four of us talked about what we’ve learned and understood about relationships, the clearer it became that there were opportunities to support others sharing these experiences on a larger scale. Our passion: sharing knowledge to facilitate communication that builds strong bonds and advocating for relationship diversity. We believe that with the right resources and awareness, relationships of all styles and structures can thrive.
Chez she/her
Chez is the harbinger of structure. She comes from the startup world where she’s helped early to late stage companies scale teams and support building processes to boost efficiency. She supports project management on our team. She’s a fan of nontraditional relationship styles and queer representation in pop culture. She’s an avid reader and tea drinker who loves sweets and binging reality shows.
Dr. Eli she/her
Dr. Eli Sheff is our resident sociology expert. She’s built her career studying polyamory and is globally recognized for academic studies on the topic. On our team, Eli is our go-to for intentional language, empirical evidence, and nerding out on polyamory in the news. When she’s not teaching or spending time with her loved ones, Dr. Eli enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and skating.
Jess she/they
Jess is the glue that brought our team together, and the visionary that got this project off the ground. She’s a serial entrepreneur who has supported startups, productions, and brands on media, marketing, and business development. Her work is motivated by making the world better through corporate responsibility, diversity, and community. Jess is a proud plant mom, advocate, and joyful relationship anarchist.
Jason they/them
Jason is the technical anchor of our team. Neurodivergent and proudly so, they lead development of our digital products with care and imagination. Driven with an intentional curiosity fueled by a mantra of "no stupid questions", Jason is passionate about inclusive technology. Outside of work, they explore nonviolent communication and the neuroscience of identity as autistic special interests. Jason envisions a future where all forms of neurodivergent identity and ways of loving are embraced.
